We look forward to welcoming you to our corner of the Finger Lakes in Honeoye NY . Just south of Rochester, Reed Homestead Shop is easy to find and even easier to linger.
Make a day of it. Birdhouse Brewing Company is just across the parking lot, with craft beer, a scratch kitchen featuring ingredients from Finger Lakes farms. It's a relaxed place to gather with live music and events on the calendar throughout the year. Golden Hour Creamery, serving Finger Lakes-made ice cream, is right next door. Nearby, Mill Creek Café offers locally sourced food and Finger Lakes beverages, and The Collected Space Gallery adds another creative stop, with art, jewelry and works connected to the Honeoye Art Walk. You’ll also find Tranquility Coffee Bar nearby.
There’s plenty to enjoy beyond shopping, too. Reed Homestead is part of the Honeoye Art Walk, with public art right outside the shop and more pieces throughout the hamlet. Nearby, Sunset Trail offers a direct walk to Honeoye Lake, or you can take the longer Sandy Bottom nature trail through woods and wetlands, including boardwalk sections. The park is also part of the New York State Birding Trail.
